Cyprus implements UN and EU sanctions via Law 58(I) of 2016. The Combatting of Terrorism and Victims’ Protection Law ?. 75(I)/2019 sets out requirements for certain entities to confiscate property belonging or controlled by persons engaged in terrorism and for supervisory authorities to ensure compliance.
Cyprus implemented Directive (EU) 2024/1226 in 2025 through the Criminalization of Violation of Union Restrictive Measures Law 2025.
